This is a view of South Hall on the University of Wisconsin River Falls Campus. In the late 1800's it was known as the State Normal School. Not unlike today, it served as a place where would-be school teachers learned their profession. The original State Normal School burned down in 1893 and was replaced by this structure the following year.
