Spring Election April 2, 2013
The City of River Falls will conduct the Spring Election on April 2, 2013. The polls will be open from 7am to 8pm.
Below are the City of River Falls Council seats to be voted on at the Spring Election:
Alderperson At Large
Alderperson District 1
Alderperson District 2
Alderperson District 3
If a primary is necessary, it will be held February 19, 2013.
Open voter registration begins February 20, 2013 through 5pm on March 13, 2013.
A proof of residence document is NOT required to register to vote during open voter registration.
From March 14, 2013 through 5pm March 29, 2013, a proof of residence document will be required to register to vote and registration must be done in the Clerk's Office.
Residents may choose to register to vote on Election Day at the proper polling location. An acceptable form of proof of residence is also required for Election Day registration.
*On March 6, 2012, a Dane County Judge issued an order to "cease immediately any effort to enforce or implement the photo identification requirements of 2011 Wisconsin Act 23, pending trial of this case and further order of the court." Any reference of photo ID is not in effect until further notice.
