CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL – the workshop convened at 6:30 p.m.

Members present: Mayor Don Richards, Susan Reese, Todd Schultz, Erin Tomlinson, Ellen Smith, David Cronk, Sandy Bowen, Scott Morrissette, Reid Wronski.

There was a quorum present at all times.

Staff present: Buddy Lucero, Planning Director; Tony Steiner, Planner; Dena Mleziva, Planner; Joe Lenzen, Building Inspector; Dave Hovel, Building Inspector; Carl Gaulke, Utilities General Manager

Year End Report Presentations:

Staff presented year-end reports regarding activity in 2006. PowerPoint presentations were given by Joe Lenzen and Dave Hovel for building and housing, Dena Mleziva for signs and Historic Preservation; and Tony Steiner for the Board of Appeals and extraterritorial zoning.

Dena Mleziva updated the Commission on research staff has done on conservation subdivisions. A survey was included in the Plan Commission packet information for Commissioners to fill out and return to staff. Staff will compile the survey information and report back to the Commission on the results. Staff and the Commission will work towards drafting an ordinance regarding Conservation or Cluster Subdivisions.

Discussion of this agenda item was tabled until the next Plan Commission meeting on March 6, 2007.
