Mission Statement

To guide future growth and development through effective planning, zoning,  permitting, enforcement, and maintain and promote sustainability by taking care of the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability to meet the needs of future generations.
 
 

The Community Development Department

Provides services such as long range planning for comprehensive land use,
economic, historic preservation, parks and trails, downtown design/Main Street
and regional.  Also, current services such as zoning, subdivision ordinance, code
enforcement, development, and building permits.
