The team established six (6) monitoring sites within the North Kinnickinnic River Monitoring Project Area. The sites were selected based upon:

1. Their upstream or downstream relationship to the development being studied.

2. Ease of access due to public property or easements.

3. Flow characteristics of the site. Were they appropriate for the type of sampling needed? For example, good "mixing" is critical for accurate temperature monitoring. Where possible, the monitor was placed in, or immediately below, a section of the river that had good riffles for the mixing of the water.

You can access the data from each monitoring site in multiple ways. You can:

bulletClick the site number on the menu on the left side of this page.
bulletAccess data for each specific monitoring component (temperature, water quality, base flow, fish and habitat studies and macroinvertebrate studies).
