Park Master Plans - Glen and Hoffman Parks

Glen Park Renovation Project 2017-2019

The City's Plan Commission, Park and Recreation Advisory Board, staff, residents, and countless others developed Master Plans for Glen and Hoffman Park in 2015-2015 (see below). In 2017, the River Falls City Council decided to focus on the Glen Park Master Plan as part of its 2017-2021 Capital Improvement Plan.

On July 14, 2017, nearly 100 residents gathered in Glen Park to review the latest design plans for the project. A second open house is Aug. 16, 2017, from 4-6 p.m. in the Park's event center to review final designs.

The Community Development Department prepares park master plans to provide a common vision and organizational framework for implementing improved park services, programs, and new facilities throughout River Fall's system of parks. Master plans are a result of extensive analysis and collaboration with public interests and user groups. These plans generally provide the basis for funding allocations each year that support the design and construction of capital projects and other park improvements.

The
Glen and Hoffman Parks Master Plan (16MB PDF) is a plan establishing long-term visions to ensure that the parks are suitable for visitors, now and in the future.
