2016 Annual Report Now Available
The Police Department has just released its 2016 Annual Report.

Medication Disposal
The River Falls Police Department collects expired, unwanted, or unused prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications. City residents are encouraged to bring these items to the Police Department for proper disposal. This is a "no questions asked" policy.  This program is free and available to all to use. There are also drug collection sites are currently located at the St. Croix County Sheriff's Department and Pierce County Sheriff's Department.  Information can be found at the following websites:

The Department staffs 23 sworn police officers, including the Chief of Police. The Department is also supported by three civilian staff members. In addition to an Administrative Division, the Department has a Patrol Division and an Investigative / Youth Services Division.

The Department also includes a Police Reserve Unit with an authorized strength of 21 members. These Reserve Officers support the Police Department during community events and other activities.
