Information for IFLS Librarians about the WPLC e-book project

  • IFLS has become a member of the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium for an e-book project. This project will give IFLS member libraries access to a collection of e-books through the Internet from NetLibrary. If this pilot project is successful, the consortium plans on continuing to broker the contract for access to the e-books and IFLS would consider continuing funding of this service.

  • Individual library patrons will be able to go to any IFLS library to sign up for a NetLibrary account, after which they will be able to access the IFLS e-book collection from any computer connected to the Internet. Patrons may also be able to create an account themselves, directly from your public library's computer.
