PARENTS:
Guidelines for behavior in the children’s
library.
- Remind your children that this is the library, not
the playground. Running, jumping, shouting, playing hide & seek is
not permitted.
- Teach your child to use a quiet voice in the library.
This is a courtesy to other customers.
- All furnishings (bean bags, rockers, stuffed toys,
etc.) should be treated respectfully and used for their intended
purpose.
- The stuffed toys on top of the shelves are for
display only. There are book and puppet sets that children are welcome
to play with and check out.
- Children are encouraged to browse the shelves
as they make their selections. Any books they do not want should be
put on the red shelving cart or left on the tables.
- Young children should not be left alone in the
children’s library for any reason.
Thanks!
