From the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.  "Leads international efforts to defeat hunger." Serving both developed and developing countries, FAO acts as a neutral forum where all nations meet as equals to negotiate agreements and debate policy."  This site features information and resources on worldwide agriculture.

USDA - Agriculture
The Unites States Department of Agriculture web site's agriculture resources featuring a wide variety of topics such as animal health, biotechnology, disaster assistance, and organic certification.

DATCP - Agriculture
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection's agriculture resources.  Topics include animals, crops, land and water, agriculture resources, and the  Farm Center which provides assistance for farmers including a hotline, counseling services, outreach and information to farmers on financial, legal, vocational and farm transfers.

University of Wisconsin Extension - Agriculture and Natural Resources

Death of the Dream: Farmhouses in the Heartland
PBS companion site to the film, "a one-hour documentary, featuring stunning photography, weaves a tapestry combining images of vanishing farmhouses with stories of historians, farm experts, and people who lived the dream of life on the farm"  Features information about the film, homes on the prairie, literary connections, a virtual farmhouse, essays about sustainable agriculture, and a list of resources.

Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom

Wisconsin Commercial Deer & Elk Farmer's Association
"The Wisconsin Commercial Deer and Elk Farmers Association (WCDEFA) is made up of Active members who raise Fallow Deer, Red Deer, or Elk. People who want to know more about the deer and elk business are Associate members. The association, formed in 1992 by a hand full of people who raised these animals, has grown to over 200 members. The primary reason for forming the Association was to share and relate the learning experiences with others who raise these type of animals."  An interesting web site about alternative livestock.
