The Police Department is accepting applications for Part-Time Police Reserve Officers.

The Police Reserve is a 21-member unit working under the direction of the Chief of Police.  The Police reserve unit serves as a uniformed and trained resource, providing assistance for community events, university needs and special service to the Police Department.  The Police Reserve Officer works occasional hours as scheduled or requested.  

QUALIFICATIONS:   Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet minimum qualifications as established by the Law Enforcement Standards Board (except education).  2003 Rate of pay:  $9.00 per hour.
