Police Department: Employment Information
Thank you for your interest in employment with the River Falls Police Department.
Applications are now being accepted to establish an eligibility list to be used to fill future vacancies for the position of police patrol officer.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range: entry - $23.99 per hour – top - $28.88. Benefits include holidays paid or taken as time off, sick leave, uniform provided, health and life insurance, vacation and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).
Qualifications: Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications as required by the Law Enforcement Standards Board, able to perform the duties and functions of a patrol officer, and at least one of the following by date of hire: 1) 2 year associate degree in law enforcement field; 2) minimum 60 semester college credits in a related field. Candidates that are certified or certifiable by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board are preferred.
