Separate your recyclables into three basic categories:

Place metal and Aluminum Cans, Glass Bottles & Jars,
and Plastic Bottles in the recycling bin. They do not have to be separated,
however do not use plastic bags.

Place Newspaper and Magazines in a brown paper grocery
bag, set on top or next to the recycling bin.

Corrugated Cardboard should be flattened and not larger
that 2’ x 2’ in size, place next to or underneath the recycling bin.
Placement:
All recycling bins must be placed curbside for
collection.
Pick-Up Day:
Weekly collection on the same day as your garbage
service.
Preparation Tips:

Metal food cans and aluminum beverage cans (Labels do
not need to be removed).

Glass bottles and jars (green, brown, and clear glass)
labels do not need to be removed.

Plastic bottles include #1 and #2, commonly found in
soda bottles, milk jugs, and detergent bottles (no oil containers or lids).

Newspaper should be placed in brown paper bag (no
plastic bags please).

Include magazines and catalogs with the newspapers.
