Dust off your gardening gloves and shovels, because the City's compost site is set to open for the season this Saturday, April 6!
Operating hours are:
• Tuesday and Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• The site is only open to residents who live in River Falls city limits. You must bring a current River Falls Municipal Utilities bill and driver's license to gain entry.
• No organic (food) waste, tree stumps, tree trunks, or branches larger than six inches in diameter are allowed.
• The site is under 24-hour video surveillance.
The site is located at 901 W. Locust Street.
